Punk-O-Matic 2 Game Review

Tired of wasting your canned drinks and wasting your money? Then the Snap Capp is just what you need. No more spills, no more bugs or bees in your drink, and no more flat drinks if you use the Snap Capp. Its unique design, usefulness and good value will change the way you go about your everyday drinking.

This plastic, cone-shaped cap that can be snapped right on top of a 12- or 16-ounce aluminum beverage can. At the top are threads that a plastic cap can screw onto. The Snap Capp turns your can into a bottle.

Once the lid is on your aluminum can, you can slosh, toss or even turn it upside down without spilling one drop. When held upside down, the plastic lid will fill up with liquid, and then when turned back upright, the liquid runs back into the can. You cannot just pull or twist it off because that is how it seals; you have to break it off like you’re breaking a stick in half.

It comes to the rescue when a party is going on at my house. With all of my little cousins running around, it keeps the kids from opening more than one soft drink. With 12 different colors, my cousins know which color top is theirs. They simply look for their lid color, and they don’t waste unfinished drinks. Punk-O-Matic 2 is a music simulation game, and the second in the series and much improved from the first. Have you ever been in a band or wanted to start one? Well now is your time, but this time in the comfort of your own home and without bursting anybody else’s ear drums, well that is if you keep the volume turned down!

At the start you are offered an in game tutorial; I would recommend you learn everything there is to know about the game before you get started. Here have the option to save your current game and load any previous games. This game is not one dimensional; if you do not want to or cannot compose music then there are other options. In terms of game play it is much like guitar hero, you use the keys [Q], [W], [E], [A], [S], and [D] to hit notes as they appear.

On the main menu you will see a screen of your band, above this there are your music composer and tools; here you can also edit your band name, song title and song length.

As well as the main game play you also get to build your bands characteristics, you can buy the band new clothes and change their appearance; this includes each one of your four band members. So at least your band can look like the who, instead of who are they and should I call the police.

While many said that the original Punk-O-Matic game was a bit of an easy touch, Punk-O-Matic 2 is anything but, it helps to have some music knowledge. However this is not essential, and there is nothing to say that if you are a musician you will find the game any easier than anyone else.

Before going into a concert make sure you practice, diving straight into a concert is not the best move, especially if you are new to the game, you might find a bottle or two being thrown your way. After learning a few songs and practicing them a bit, it is time to take it on the road, of course you will not be starting on the strip but instead, you will be starting where the drinks are cheap and customers are looking for entertainment.

In February, the developers of Punk-O-Matic straightened out some problems with some small bugs, and some issues with lag. Developers have also added the free mode, just play music, without the worry of a tense crowd, or your career going down the toilet, simply just rock out.

Punk-O-Matic 2 is a massive 32 MB of flash gaming fun, so be prepared to let it load for a while. For a free flash game, Punk-O-Matic 2 brings some of the same features of guitar hero, and a terrific game play with excellent longevity. The Punk-O-Matic series of games is probably the finest and hardest music simulation around. After your refreshment has been sitting out for a while, it can get flat. With the Snap Capp, your drink will keep that just-opened fizz.
